Capricorn Mail（以下「本アプリ」）は、個人が開発・提供するメールアプリです。本アプリは、利用者のメールやログイン情報を開発者のサーバーに預けない作りにしています。このページでは、本アプリが扱う情報と、その置き場所・通信先を説明します。
1. 開発者が受け取る情報
開発者は、利用者のメール、連絡先、ログイン情報（パスワードやGoogleの鍵）、本アプリの使い方の記録を受け取りません。本アプリには開発者のサーバー、広告、利用状況の分析の仕組みはありません。
お問い合わせのメールでいただいたアドレスと内容は、返信のためだけに使います。また、TestFlight・App Store を通じて、利用者が共有に同意したクラッシュ情報・フィードバック・利用状況の集計（Appleが集めたもの）を Apple から受け取ることがあります。

本文中のリンクは、利用者が押したときに、標準のブラウザまたは本アプリ内のSafariの画面で開きます。メール中の住所の「地図で開く」を押すと、その住所をAppleのマップに渡して開きます。

本アプリを削除すると、アプリのデータの場所と設定は消えます。キーチェーンの情報は、iOSの仕組みにより削除後も残ることがあります。残したくない場合は、削除の前に本アプリの設定からアカウントを外してください。
4. iPhoneの機能へのアクセス（許可したときだけ）
- 連絡先：宛先の候補・送信者の写真・連絡先グループへの送信に使います。この端末の中で読み、外には送りません。
- カレンダー：メールの日時・招待状・予約を予定に追加するときに、iPhoneの予定の画面を開きます（内容は利用者が確かめてから追加します）。
- リマインダー：「リマインダーに追加」を選んだときに、リマインダーを作ります。
- 写真：添付する写真を選ぶ画面を開きます（選んだ写真だけを使います）。
- 通知：新着・あとで・返事待ち・予約送信のお知らせは、iPhoneの中で作る通知です。通知のために外部のサーバーへ情報を送ることはありません。
- Face ID・Touch ID・パスコード：アプリのロックの解除に使います（顔や指紋の情報は本アプリに渡りません）。
- Spotlight（iPhoneの検索）：設定でオンにしたときだけ、受信トレイのメールの件名・差出人・書き出しを、この端末の中の検索に載せます（送信済み・ゴミ箱などのメールは載せません）。
5. Apple Intelligence・翻訳・読み上げ
送信前チェック（AI）、AIに聞く、AIの要約・返信案・分類は、iPhoneの中で動くApple Intelligenceを使います（AIの要約などは設定でオンにしたときだけ）。翻訳と読み上げは、iPhoneの翻訳・読み上げの機能を使います。本アプリから外部のAIサービスに文章を送ることはありません。
6. Googleのユーザーデータの扱い
本アプリがGoogle APIから受け取った情報の使用と、他のアプリへの移転は、限定的使用の要件を含む「Google API サービスのユーザーデータに関するポリシー」に従います。Gmailの情報は、メールの表示・送受信・整理と、利用者が選んで使う機能（iPhoneの中のAIによる要約・返信案・分類、翻訳・読み上げ、Spotlight、カレンダー・リマインダーへの追加、共有・印刷、地図で開く、配信停止の依頼、Siriへの未読数の回答）を提供するためだけに使い、広告への利用、第三者への販売、人が読むことはしません。第三者への移転は、利用者が選んだ操作（配信停止・外部の画像の表示・共有・地図で開くなど）に必要な場合だけです。
Googleアカウントへのアクセスは、Googleアカウントの「サードパーティのアプリとサービス」からいつでも取り消せます。
7. 情報の削除
開発者は利用者のメールなどを持っていないため、削除はこの端末の中で行えます。アカウントを外すと、そのアカウントのパスワード・一時保存・予約送信のメールが消えます。「一時保存を空にする」で、すべての一時保存が消えます。最近見たメール・送った相手の記録・返事待ちなどの設定の場所にある情報は、本アプリを削除すると消えます。お問い合わせのメールの削除をご希望の場合は、下のアドレスへご連絡ください。
8. お子さまの情報
本アプリは、お子さまの情報を特別に集めることはありません。

Capricorn Mail ("the App") is an email app developed and provided by an individual. The App is designed so that your email and sign-in information are not stored on the developer's servers.
1. Information the developer receives
The developer does not receive your email, contacts, sign-in information (passwords or Google tokens), or records of how you use the App. The App has no developer server, no advertising, and no analytics.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. Through TestFlight and the App Store, we may receive from Apple crash reports, feedback and aggregated usage statistics (collected by Apple) that you agreed to share.
2. Where the App connects
- The mail servers of the accounts you add: to receive, send, move and search mail, and to save sent copies and drafts. Sends: your sign-in information and the content of the mail you work with.
- Google (accounts.google.com, oauth2.googleapis.com): to sign in to Gmail and refresh access. You enter your password on Google's page, not in the App. Sends: what Google needs for sign-in.
- Remote images in a message: only when you tap "Show remote images". Even then, images the App identifies as tracking images are not loaded, but not every tracker can be detected. The image host receives your IP address, device information and anything the sender embedded in the image URL, so the sender may learn that the message was opened.
- A newsletter's unsubscribe endpoint: only when you confirm "Unsubscribe" (one-click unsubscribe standard). For mail without it, the App opens the sender's unsubscribe page in your browser, or prepares an unsubscribe email to the address the sender gave, which you send yourself. The request goes to the https URL written by the sender, which receives the information in that URL and your IP address.
- Common server names of your own domain: only when you tap "Find servers" while adding an account, to check whether they accept connections (the servers receive connection information such as your IP address; no sign-in information is sent).
Links in a message open, when you tap them, in your default browser or in a Safari view inside the App. Tapping "Open in Maps" for an address in a message passes that address to Apple Maps.
3. Information stored on your device
- Mail passwords and the Gmail refresh token: in this device's Keychain (this device only, available after first unlock).
- Cached message lists and bodies (for speed): encrypted with the App's key and excluded from iPhone backups. You can choose how much to keep or clear them in Settings; your mail itself is not deleted.
- Scheduled messages (recipients, subject, body and attachments): kept encrypted on this device until they are sent, excluded from iPhone backups, and removed when sent, cancelled or when the account is removed.
- Opened attachments: written to a temporary folder only when opened, and removed when the App restarts.
- The list of accounts you added (no passwords) and settings such as signatures, templates, aliases, labels, blocked senders, rules, snooze and follow-up times, saved searches, recently viewed messages, people you have sent mail to, VIPs, muted threads, quick replies, sender grouping, simple counts of received mail, the accounts shown during a Focus, and actions chosen from notifications until the App processes them (may be included in iPhone backups).
Deleting the App removes its data and settings. Keychain items may remain after deletion because of how iOS works; to remove them, remove your accounts in the App's Settings before deleting the App.
4. Device features (only with your permission)
Contacts (address suggestions, photos, contact groups; read on device only), Calendar (opens the system event editor), Reminders, Photos (only the photos you pick), Notifications (created on device), Face ID/Touch ID/passcode (to unlock the App), and Spotlight (only when turned on in Settings; puts the subject, sender and opening lines of Inbox messages, but not Sent, Trash or other folders, into on-device search).
5. Apple Intelligence, translation and speech
AI features (pre-send check, Ask AI, and summaries, reply suggestions and classification, which are on only when you turn them on in Settings) use Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. Translation and read-aloud use the system features. The App does not send text to external AI services.
6. Google user data
Capricorn Mail's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to display, send, receive and organize your mail and to provide features you choose to use (on-device AI summaries, reply suggestions and classification; translation and read-aloud; Spotlight; adding to Calendar or Reminders; sharing and printing; opening addresses in Maps; unsubscribe requests; and telling Siri your unread count). It is not used for advertising, sold, or read by humans, and it is transferred to others only as needed for actions you choose (for example unsubscribe, showing remote images, sharing, or opening in Maps).
You can revoke the App's access at any time from "Third-party apps & services" in your Google Account.
7. Deleting information
The developer does not hold your mail, so deletion happens on this device. Removing an account deletes its password, cached mail and scheduled messages. "Clear cache" deletes all cached mail. Information kept in the settings area, such as recently viewed messages, people you have sent mail to and follow-ups, is deleted when you delete the App. To ask us to delete an email you sent us, contact the address below.
8. Children
The App does not specifically collect information about children.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date.
